Grant Received for Lighthouse Park Improvements

As reported by the Huron County View, “A grant the Huron County Road Commission began seeking back in March has officially been secured.”

The Huron County Parks are accepting applications and resumes for Seasonal Park Manager at Wagener Park, Harbor Beach, MI for the 2016 Camping season. This opportunity involves assisting campground customers as necessary, directing part-time maintenance staff and utilizing a computer. Ash Trees Lost Due to East Asia Emerald Ash Borer Beetle

2015 Caseville Campsite Changes

In 2015, Caseville County Park will begin utilizing a new campsite layout which will allow for more campsites and an increased visitor experience.
Changes will bring about 30 extra lots for campers, which will be available in spring 2015. In addition to new lots, sites in the middle of the park will be larger than before. These sites are now listed as “Premium.”

Update on Cheeseburger Reservation Opportunities

Reservations officially opened to the general public on December 16 and we thank everyone who have already made their reservations for the 2014 season.
Currently there is a minimum requirement of 18-or-more nights to book during the Cheeseburger Festival in Caseville. The decision to require a minimum stay was made because the parks are completely self-funded. Reservations for 2014 Camping Season Open to Public

Beginning Monday, December 16 at 12:00 p.m. EST campers can book their campsites for the 2014 camping season.  Huron County Parks urges campers to book early for their stay at the parks.
