Parks re-opening June 22! All campers offered chance to cancel

First of all, we are pleased to confirm that, as of today, camping is going to be available beginning June 22nd. We want to assure you that all Huron County Parks campgrounds will be strictly following protocols currently published by the CDC and the State of Michigan, including attendants in the bathrooms and other measures to maximize your safety.

We feel, however, in fairness to you, as a camper who has an existing reservation, there may still be concerns that may keep you from coming. Therefore, we are offering campers who hold non-seasonal reservations made before May 28th, for dates on or after June 22nd, the option to cancel those reservations and receive a full refund. Refunds will be issued either in the form of a Gift Card or Check.

We hope you will be comfortable camping with us this year, but if not, please notify us that you wish to cancel your reservation by June 12, 2020. To complete the cancellation process, click here.

If you don’t provide notice by June 12th, it will be assumed you have chosen to keep your reservation. We look forward to seeing you, as you enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of Huron County Parks.
