The Huron County Road Commission acting as the Huron County Parks Trustees will hold a public hearing on March 4, 2020, at 8:30 am at the Huron County Road Commission Office, 417 S. Hanselman Street, Bad Axe Michigan, to seek community input regarding a proposed Michigan Land and Water Conservation Fund grant application for improvements at Lighthouse Park. Lighthouse Park is located at 7320 Lighthouse Road, Port Hope, Ml. The proposed improvements include a canoe/kayak launch, a fish cleaning station, playground, additional parking, multi-use path and related amenities. The County encourages citizens to share any ideas or suggestions about this project, particularly those with disabilities. If you are interested, please attend the meeting, or send written comments in advance of the public meeting to the address listed below.
