It is the start of a new camping season at Huron County Parks! Here’s a look at some of the great events at each Huron County campground throughout the season, with more being added by managers all the time. Please keep in mind, park events are subject to change.
April 15, 2019: Caseville County Park opens for the season.
May 1, 2019: Lighthouse, Oak Beach, Sebewaing, Stafford and Wagener County Parks open for the season.
June 6,7,8 &9: Town Wide Garage Sales at Sebewaing Park.
June 8 & 9: Free Fishing Weekend at Sebewaing Park.
June 13 & 14” Town Wide Garage Sales at Sebewaing Park.
June 28, 2019 – June 29, 2019: Ribstock. It is a highly-anticipated event each year in Caseville. Ribstock is a competition to find who makes the best ribs in town. Restaurants set up rib stands and are judged to find the best ones in the city. Additional events include a sand castle contest, classic car show, a rib cook-off, softball tournaments, dancing, kid’s games, and entertainment including live music.
July 27, 2019: Oak Beach Pig Roast, and Elvis is back in the park!
August 2, 3 & 4, 2019: Bay Port Fish Sandwich Festival at Sebewaing Park.
August 9 – 11, 2019: Yard Sale Trail Around The Thumb at Sebewaing Park.
August 9 & 10, 2019: Garage Sale In Park Pole Barn at Sebewaing Park.
August 9 – 18, 2019: 21st Annual Cheeseburger Festival in Caseville! During the Cheeseburger event, only campers having booking confirmations are allowed to park in the campground parking lots. On-Site RV Sites are SOLD OUT. Off-Site RUSTIC RV campsites are available.
August 22-25, 2019: Gospel Music At Bay Shore Camp
August 24, 2019: Country Market & Music Fest in Sebewaing 10 am – 4 pm
September 14, 2019: Halloween Weekend at Wagener Park.
September 21, 2019: Halloween Weekend at Oak Beach Park.
September 21-22, 2019: Halloween Pumpkin Fest at Caseville Park.
October 3, 2019: Moonlight Madness & River Fire from 5pm – 8pm at Sebewaing Park.
October 15, 2019: Lighthouse, Oak Beach, Sebewaing, Stafford and Wagener County Parks close for the season.
October 31, 2019: Caseville County Park closes for the season.
November 15, 2019: The deadline for renewing seasonal sites. All seasonal campers who are returning must pay their deposits.
December 1, 2019 at noon: Reservations open for 2020.
