There are lot of great events at each Huron County campground throughout the season, with more being added by managers all the time. To get the season started, here is a list of important dates you may want to save, including dates for Ribstock and Cheeseburger, plus Halloween weekends at the parks. Please keep in mind, park events are subject to change.
April 15, 2018: Caseville County Park opens for the season.
May 1, 2018: Lighthouse, Oak Beach, Sebewaing, Stafford and Wagener County Parks open for the season.
June 9, 2018: 2nd Saturday Craft and Yard Sale at Sebewaing Park. Set up a table on your site!
June 22, 2018 – June 24, 2018: Ribstock. It is a highly-anticipated event each year in Caseville. Ribstock is a competition to find who makes the best ribs in town. Restaurants set up rib stands and are judged to find the best ones in the city. Additional events include a sand castle contest, classic car show, a rib cook off, softball tournaments, dancing, kid’s games, and entertainment including live music.
August 10 – 19, 2018: 20th Annual Cheeseburger Festival in Caseville Festival! During the Cheeseburger event, only campers having booking confirmations are allowed to park in the campground parking lots.On-Site RV Sites are SOLD OUT. Off Site RUSTIC RV campsites are available.
August 10 & 11, 2018: Thumb Yard Sale Trail at Sebewaing Park. Set up a table on your site!
September 15, 2018: Halloween Weekend at Wagener Park.
September 22, 2018: Halloween Weekend at Oak Beach Park.
September 22, 2018: Halloween Pumpkin Fest at Caseville Park.
October 15, 2018: Lighthouse, Oak Beach, Sebewaing, Stafford and Wagener County Parks close for the season.
October 31, 2018: Caseville County Park closes for the season.
November 15, 2018: The deadline for renewing seasonal sites. All seasonal campers who are returning must pay their deposits.
December 1, 2018 at noon: Reservations open for 2019.
