These tournaments are for the fish lovers in the state. Snag your largest catch and show it off to everyone.
This event allows the local merchants in Harbor Beach to make their best chili. People can purchase a Harbor Beach button, taste and vote for all the merchants chili to decide the very best.
There is something for everyone to do at the Maritime Festival. There are Jet ski races, fireworks, historic tours, dancing, concessions, a car show and musical entertainment. The 14th Annual Maritime Festival, will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2014 – Sunday, July 13, 2014.
This event is a fun filled day for everyone to enjoy, with pumpkin decorating, games, costume contest, hayrides and of course “Trick or Treating” within the park to each site. In the evening hours there is music and dancing for everyone to enjoy. Wagener Park Halloween is going to be September 19th, 2015.
The regional meet is usually held the last weekend in September or the first weekend in October. The State meet is held the last weekend in October. This event allows for High School Cross Country teams to come to the Wagener County Park and compete.
The 4th of July Patriot Gathering is an event for the whole park to enjoy. It allows all the campers to gather around and enjoy a potluck event within the park.
The first Saturday in August is a time when campers within the park can set up a table and sell items that they wish to get rid of or no longer need. Crafty campers also sell crafts and trinkets which make great souvenirs.
Cheeseburger in Caseville will take place Aug 8th – 17th 2014 ‘Cheeseburger’ is one of the most looked-forward-to events of the year. The festival is a tribute to tropical paradise, cheeseburgers, and Jimmy Buffett. The 10-day long festival takes place in the August, celebrating the final weeks of summer vacation.
