Huron County Parks would like to welcome you to Lighthouse County Park in the Michigan Thumb

Located at the Thumb of Michigan along the shores of historical Lake Huron, are six beautiful campgrounds, including Lighthouse County Park. Relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors. There’s something for everyone at Huron County Parks.

Lighthouse County Park is located 6 miles north of Port Hope and features 110 campsites on 120 acres of land. It has modern and tent sites as well as the historic Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse, which is a Great Lakes navigational point.

The beaches have rocky, stony shores so are not ideal for swimming. Lighthouse park is great for many other activities including camping, cabin rentals, boating, special events, day use, and hiking.
