Cheeseburger is one of the most looked-forward-to events of the year. There are a variety of concerts, kids activities, and an assortment of different cheeseburger stands from restaurants throughout the city who compete for the prize of best burger. Ribstock is a competition to find who makes the best ribs in town. Restaurants setup rib stands and are judged to find the best ones in the city. Caseville County Park offers a fun-filled day of events for the kids during Halloween weekend. We offer face painting and pumpkin decorating, hay rides, a candy drop, and costume parade. The annual Pumpkin Fest is a great event to kick off the fall season. It wouldn’t be complete without rolling pumpkins down the hills of Caseville County Park. This is a fun filled day for everyone to enjoy, even if you just watch the kids. The Pig Roast is a large group gathering in “The Back Yard” for everyone to enjoy. There is a pig roasted from and cooked by J & M Farms in Allenton, MI and everyone within the park brings a dish to pass. There are a few of these events throughout the summer. It’s a time when women can relax and let the men do the cooking. Campers within the park donate items for the breakfast and the men cook. The first Saturday in August is a time when campers within the park can set up a table and sell items that they wish to get rid of or no longer need. The ball tournaments are all held at the ball field at Stafford County Park and is for participants over 18 years old. Trophies are awarded to winning teams. Ball tournaments take place on the following weekends:

Various tournaments are held throughout the year. Some of the best fisherman in the state (and many novice fisherman), snag large fish on the lake. Several state, regional and semi-final competitions wind their way through the park. The regional meet is held the last weekend in September and the State meet is held the last weekend in October. The Maritime festival includes something for everyone. This event allows the local merchants in Harbor Beach to make their best chili.
